A flamboyant nineteenth century French wallpaper fragment was the inspiration for this fifteen, and in some cases sixteen, colour hand screen printed design. Incredibly ambitious in its makeup, this painterly, almost three dimensional design started out as the signature print wallpaper of the collection. By popular demand, it has been painstakingly reworked in order to translate as a printed linen and as a result it has a wonderful nostalgic sense of maximalist prints of the past.
