A flamboyant nineteenth century French wallpaper fragment was the inspiration for this fifteen colour hand block printed design. Incredibly ambitious in its makeup, this painterly, almost three dimensional design has been sensitively reworked on an adapted scale. The sum of which shows an integrity and homage to traditional techniques and design. Having launched as a wallpaper the collection now also includes the design hand screen printed onto linen, bringing with it a wonderful nostalgic sense of maximalist prints of the past.
