Chartwell Weave& Oulton StripeCollection

The Chartwell was reworked from an Arts and Crafts bridge cloth which was one of the first pieces Flora purchased. The ambitious cross-stitched appearance of this ambitious woven geometric design has a nostalgic quality that is reminiscent of interiors which Flora has much loved.

The unique stripe of the Oulton derives from a late nineteenth century indigo and scarlet Syrian stripe with a distinctive antique gold thread. The four jewel tones of this design are the backbone of the collection, championing Flora’s belief that ‘colour is key’.
